The Customer Services Centre of Padukka, with the support of the Area Office of Avissawella and the residents of the area, made a generous donation to the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital, following the practice of sixteen years.
The donation included hundred packages with medicine and dry ration worth of four hundred thousand rupees.
The Deputy General Manager of Western Province South II Eng. G. B. M. Wijayashantha, Electrical Engineer of Avissawella Area Eng. Nalin Premarathna, Electrical Engineer of Homagama Area Eng. Champika Rathnayake and Electrical Superintendent of Padukka Customer Services Centre Mr. A. G. U. Nishantha who guided and organized the donation, participated in the handing over of the donation to Dr. R. Amarathunga, the Deputy Director of Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.
CEB employees of Avissawella Area Office, Homagama Area Office and Customer Services Centre of Padukka who contributed to the admirable deed, also participated in the occasion.
