The Area Chief Electrical Engineers Office (Ratmalana) and newly built E-City of the Ceylon Electricity Board has recently commenced its commercial operations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
It was officially declared open by the Chairman Eng. Vijitha Herath in the presence of top officials of the CEB that included the General Manager Eng. D.D.K. Karunaratne, Additional General Manager (Distribution Division 01) Eng. (Mrs.) N.W.K. Herath, Additional General Manager (Transmission) Eng. (Dr) M.N. Susantha Perera, Additional General Manager (Asset Management) Eng. Senajith Dasanayake, Additional General Manager (DD4) Eng. Rohan Seneviratne, Additional General Manager (Projects) Eng. M.R. Ranathunga, Deputy General Manager (WPS 01) Upul Senarath Banda, Deputy General Manager (P&D) Eng. (Mrs.) Nilmini Perera & Deputy General Manager (Commercial and Corporate) – DD4 Eng.W.Jayaratne.
Equipped with the latest systems and facilities, the newly built E-City and the relocated Area Office is committed to providing enhanced quality and prompt service to customers. CEB has spent Rupees 5 million on the project.
