CEB Long Term Generation Expansion Plan 2020-2039 (Draft)
This report presents the Generation Expansion Planning Studies carried out by the Transmission and Generation Planning Branch of the Ceylon Electricity Board for the period 2020-2039. The Report also includes information on the existing generation system, generation planning methodology, system demand forecast and investment and implementation plans for the proposed projects and recommends the adoption of the base case plan. It also emphasizes the need to implement the plan to avoid capacity shortfalls.
Long Term Generation Expansion Plan 2020-2039 (Draft) was Submitted to PUCSL for approval on 24th May 2019.
